Great, except for a …
Great, except for a relationship they may want to add another lamp to the nightstand, to represent two, if that is desired.

Lovely ideas. Try …
Lovely ideas. Try to do this with very budget that is just enough for food and other neccessities. Also in a room that can hold a single bed and a wardrobe. Ideas??? WOuld love to read. Thanks

I am trying to …
I am trying to paint the interior of my house, and would like to know what colors to paint: the Kitchen, Bedroom, Art Studio, Gym Room, Living Room, Laundry Room, Garage Workshop, and Hallway. I plan on painting one wall a different color in each room as an accent wall, and the ceiling a lighter shade of the main color. Can you make a video about this?

I have some single …
I have some single friends who put "ideal" partners photos from magazines and newspapers in frames in their relationship area. Art showing a beautiful person can also do the trick. Upright plants with stalks growing straight and tall also add energy to the areas we'd like to boost a bit. Again, good to experiment and "test" the results for a week or two, then shift things around and test again. It's all about carefully observing how your living space impacts your life and taking positive action.

Being 30 years …
Being 30 years beyond my graduate studies, I've tended to find less absolute truths and fewer "scams" in the world. Acknowledging different points of views and perspectives becomes the only truth after awhile. I wish you good luck in your studies and a very happy new year.

I am majoring in …
I am majoring in physics, I am aware that matter is in constant motion, and may possibly even constantly hop between dimensions (anti-matter). However, the idealist concept of energy is a scam, and promotes consumer materialism of things like feng shui (which is detrimental to true human wellbeing), whereas philosophical materialism simply states that everything is made out of matter, as any physicist will agree with.

The fountain idea …
The fountain idea is wonderful, particularly for the far left corner of the room (water in the Career corner). Many thanks for watching and your kind comments. Happy holidays!

westend104 @ 4:06 am

There are many …
There are many definitions of energy, and if you consult folks in the field of physics, they'll tell you that matter is never at rest; it's in a constant state of motion (i.e., it's in an energetic state). There is no consumption and materialism whatsoever in feng shui as the dweller of a space is made of the same energetic matter as its contents. You can change your surroundings to suit yourself; you own things and not the other way. You can change your space in any way, including minimalism.

You're so right! …
You're so right! The homeowner is from Cape Town, South Africa and has fond memories of his home at the foot of Table Mountain; this picture allows him to recreate that wonderful relationship that he had to the mountain, and his sleep is very restful.

tiger is a very …
tiger is a very peaceful animal. and the mountains represent harsh, monst inhospitable environment on the earth.. and please note my soothing black rich night stand table.. ahhhhggg i love my bedroom.. Come On! .. whatever makes you happy, as long as you can sleep well i guess…

lol — That picture …
lol — That picture has one of the strongest set of mollies and in-wall hooks I've ever seen. I think it would take an earthquake to shake it loose (the wall would have to crumble first). Thanks for watching!

i dunno about that …
i dunno about that painting hanging over the bed.. i would be worried if that crashed on my head during my sleep!

christianng28 @ 4:06 am

O cool, yes …
O cool, yes fortunately my bed is in the relationships area, but there is no room to seperate it from the wall. Well i'm currently single and i have a few photos of my family and friends on my desk. This is bad isn't it? what can i replace them with (as i don't have a partner)?

Thanks again, and keep up the good work ;)

westend104 @ 4:06 am

Thanks for watching …
Thanks for watching, and your kind words! Where your bed is depends on what imagery you might want up near it. Google-up the feng shui bagua to see how your bedroom is divided up into different themed areas, based on the location of your main entry door. Ideally, put your bed in the relationships area and you can have photos of you and your loved one (but no one else!). Hopefully your bed can be moved a bit away from the wall to allow good people and energy flow.

christianng28 @ 4:06 am

Hey very nice video …
Hey very nice video regarding feng shui, well designed indeed. I like the idea of putting a picture of mountains behind the bed, but do you have any other suggestions concerning other suitable imagery? Possibly waterfalls or rivers, though I've heard not to put water related imagery in the bedroom.

Also, my bedroom is quite small and my double bed is aligned against the wall. Is there any good cures for this, as I know you should have good access from both sides. Thanks heaps in advance!

westend104 @ 4:06 am

Thanks for watching …
Thanks for watching! We are very comfortable living here. Headboards help to anchor and support you when you rest. It is good to have a strong headboard, but not too hard (like a metal headboard). Also avoid floating the bed in the middle of the room without the support of a wall or placing the bed with the headboard against a window (again, not good grounding and anchoring while you sleep).

edwrd @ 4:06 am

Your bedroom is …
Your bedroom is beautiful and very cozy…=0) Is a headboard really necessary regarding feng shui?

westend104 @ 4:06 am

The phone is a good …
The phone is a good idea, but try it out in different spots and see where it feels good to you. I also just heard that pictures of mountains are great to put behind a desk in a home office; it anchors a business or study efforts; so if you have a home office, you might want to consider the mountain picture there, too!

josepolo950 @ 4:06 am

thanks a lot for …
thanks a lot for your help,I will definitly listen to your recommendations!
I have 3chinese coins joined in a red ribbon I thought the best place to hang them was inside the front door but I heard a lady on one of the vids saying to attach them on your phone/..

westend104 @ 4:06 am

Josette, you're …
Josette, you're welcome! The mountain picture sounds wonderful. With your front door, if it's facing East, appropriate colors are Green, Yellow, Earth-tones, White, and Metallic. Children and Creativity are big areas for the East, so you might want to hang original artwork and/or photos of children near your front door to maximize the good energy there. (Just a thought….) Good luck! Best, Jay

josepolo950 @ 4:06 am

thanks Westend for …
thanks Westend for answering to my queries. The picture of the mountain I want to put behind my bed is very similar to yours with clouds floating about I took it from my sisters living room and its relaxing to look at
my front door is facing est.
thank you for all your help!!!really appreciated1 greetings

Thanks for watching …
Thanks for watching and commenting! Any feng shui reference materials are great to help make decisions on placing interior design elements in your living space. Your advice is something we recommend all the time, too — it's easy to move things around in a home (unless it's a bathtub or a toilet!!!); make gradual changes, take careful note of how you feel about your living space when those changes are made, make adjustments accordingly, and keep observing what happens in your life. Good luck!

westend104 @ 4:06 am

Dragons are very …
Dragons are very lucky. I have friends who positioned a bagua mirror and dragons on their windows facing west, for protection. Proper placement of any elements in a room depends on many things, most importantly orientation of the room and main entrances. Best advice: without an expert visiting your space, experiment. Place objects in a way that feels good to you and live with it for a week. Take notes about your experiences. Make new arrangements for another week. Compare and choose the better.

westend104 @ 4:06 am

Josette, many …
Josette, many thanks for watching and your questions! Try to keep the underside of your bed open for air to circulate; but if not possible, then keep the clothing nicely folded and make sure it's not "junk storage." Clean up all clutter! Instead of a mountain, hang nothing up over your bed or a picture that is meaningful to you (anchor it well!). Front door color? It depends on the direction your door faces and where it's situated. Look up a bagua chart online to check proper colors. Good luck!
