You have got to admit that an anniversary is one event that you would need to prepare for. From the preparations, outfit, makeup, food, gift, all the way to the small details truly count. Of course, you would surely want everything to be perfect - or almost perfect.

Keep in your mind to make a good plan beforehand. Setting everything would give you a blueprint as to how you want that big day to be for the two of you. Would you want something intimate, or would you want to have it in a fancy hotel restaurant? However you want it to be, you need to make sure that it would be something that is absolutely memorable.

For the ladies, you should consider your outfit for that day. Whether you are going casual or outright formal, make sure that your makeup is on the natural side. You do not want to look like somebody else for that big day, don't you? Your casual skinny jeans can be spruced up with a pair of women's brown boots, or you can also pair it up with some casual dress. Remember to stick to something comfortable, but quite presentable that makes you feel beautiful.

The males should also know how to put it together to look their best. If you aren't planning anything too formal, a pair of black pants and a nice button-down shirt without the tie would be enough. Be sure to shave your face, as well as prepare your best smile as you gaze into her eyes. And don't forget to put on her favorite perfume of yours - she would definitely sniff you for the whole night.

To make your anniversary extra special, you can also consider making out something together. Print pictures, collect memorabilia and place them all in a scrapbook. On the day of your anniversary, you can all take them out, together with some scrapbooking tools and do it together. There is nothing better than something personal, and something you have done together. It would be a nice thing to look at after a few more anniversaries, as well as to show to other friends.

If you want to have a surprise date, then make sure that it would really be a surprise. You can choose to prepare a song for him or her. Pick out a memorable song for the two of you, or choose something that would best describe your feelings.
